By using ElderEase Care, you agree to the following terms:

Use of the App

ElderEase Care is designed to help families coordinate caregiving activities. You agree to use the app responsibly and only for its intended purpose.

No Medical Advice

ElderEase Care is not a medical provider and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in the app is a substitute for professional medical care.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions, including questions about medications, symptoms, or treatment plans.

Healthcare Use Disclaimer

ElderEase Care is not currently designed to store or process protected health information (PHI) as defined under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Users agree not to input any PHI or identifiable patient information into the platform. This includes, but is not limited to, names, dates of birth, medical conditions linked to an identifiable individual, addresses, or any other sensitive personal health data.

Because the platform uses email-based accounts and usernames, combining any care-related information with real individuals may create identifiable data.

ElderEase Care is not intended for use by healthcare providers acting on behalf of an employer, agency, or covered entity at this time. Any such use is unauthorized and at the user's own risk.

User Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Verifying medications and dosages
  • Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all information you or your care circle enter in the app
  • Making all care-related decisions

Care Circle Access

  • You are responsible for who you invite into your care circle
  • Members may view and update shared information
  • The care circle owner controls membership

Limitation of Liability

ElderEase Care is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We are not responsible for:

  • Medical outcomes
  • Errors in user-entered data
  • Decisions made based on app information

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to access other users' data
  • Misuse or disrupt the service

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use means you accept any updates.
